What to buy next after BN-20

Post by mr-gobby » Thu May 09, 2019 1:06 pm

We've had this BN-20 secondhand for 3 years now it was 2 years old when we got, now thinking to maybe go to a sp300i, new, used, referbed, depends what came up but any comments or experiences? We are garment decorators, small family business, two of us one part time. thanks Mark

SP300i is a very popular machine for your market!

Thanks for the response Joe, it's probably what we will look into, currently expanding the workshop space so once the dust settles we can follow this up

On the subject of SP300i what if I bought a used one running ecosol 3 inks, (there are ones out there for sale that have been run on Roland maintenance contracts) from what I understand ecosol3 inks are not as widely accepted onto t shirt printing media as the original Ecosol ink which we run in our Bn-20. As it dries quicker too Id also assume that the risk of issues such as ink drying in the head is higher. To that end can they be flushed and reinstalled with ecosol1 inks? Is that a viable process? How much longer will ecosol 1 inks be around? Thanks.
